The insertion of the theory of Evolution in American schools is probably one of the most hotly debated topics in American educational board rooms nowadays. The creationists seem to be winning, at least in Texas.The Texas board of education approved a new set of state science standards, which will dictate what is taught in elementary and secondary science classes across the state. the new set of standards seem to satisfy the state's creationist constituents. Thanks to schools, colleges, and universities, an individual is shaped as a wise and prepared individual for the coming challenges of real life. Seattle district officials have proposed a new assignment plan for students going to Seattle Public Schools, encouraging some parents and raising questions among others.The plan will not be implemented until the fall of 2010. It aims to simplify the process that seems to be basic but turns out to be complex.
