Name of your website?

Quick Degree Info

Your name?

Kathryn Lucas

Your Location (city, etc)

Armada

Please give us a short summary of your website?

This site explains how to earn college credit through exams, portfolio, certification, free courses and articulation agreements. Geared toward the working adult, but the information is useful to everyone heading to college on a budget. There is a blog for questions and support for users. Links to pertinent money saving programs and degrees.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I have used this information myself and helped many others use it too. I wanted a way to share it and not be confusing with all of te facts.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It just fit the content.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I haven't found anything else like it.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To build a community in the blog area nad help people earn their degrees quickly.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Time will tell.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Obviously I would go much more high tech and pour money in to advertising so people wouldn't waste so much money taking classes on things they already know.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I would figure that out if it happened.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

So far, so good.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting all of the resources organized.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Submitting to the search engines and word of mouth.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

it does keep me busy!

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Only a couple of weeks so far, I hope it grows in to something that really helps alot of people.

How have you tested the information you provide on your site?

I have earned two associates degrees, two bachelors degrees and a masters degree using this information. I have tested it with my own college pursuits.

What is your website address?
