MyVerbal.com is commercial website focus on english education. It provides a lot of exercises in order to aid in the learning of the english language. We convey an important message about how practice is the key in english education.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Based on a difficult lifelong experience of learning english, we have devised the best way to apprehend and learn the english language.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launched SATlearning.com about four years ago and it provided online SAT Math practice tests for its users.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We chose the name because it connects to the users. It is their best ways of improving the English language start from the vocabulary.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Currently there are no similar offerings. The closest are the SAT practice websites. However they just provide SAT tests that provide limited education. Our website focuses on the English aspect and provides practice in many different forms.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our current goal is to keep it for income. We are trying to provide the best tool to learn english.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Our current investment will be completely worth it in the long run. This website has great potential and will expand tremendously in the future.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
With an unlimited budget, even more functions can be added to our site. In addition, additional practice exercises can be created. Books can be published and we will try to incorporate this website onto portable devices. One more, we will be able to connect to schools and provide services for the education system.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, we have the technology required to maintain a connected environment for our users' demands. We will use load-balancing for network traffic and high availibility to reduce down-time. In addition, we will use the latest web technology such as SOA to improve performance.

Our biggest challenge has been acquiring additional funds for our website.

The most successful method has been search engines. In addition, email chains have been great in spreading our website. Also mouth by mouth methods have been used. With money, we will be able to use tv ads and radio broadcasting.

For about 1 year. We have strong confidence that this website will accumulate more and more traffic in the future. The longer we keep it running, the more users we'll have. Therefore we will keep it open as long as possible.

Yes. We like to apply Artifical Intelligence to analyze the progress of user learning processing and provide the data to educator to improve the teaching skills.
